The DESCO Air Hat is used for shallow water heavy construction diving and badly contaminated environments, when the diver will be standing or upright for the majority of the dive. What makes this helmet so safe and reliable is its over-pressure design. Air free flows into the “Hat”, delivering air at a constant rate. There are no regulator or mushroom valves– weak spots when it comes to contaminated diving. It is a very dry hat and offers the most protection to the diver; it is made from nickel plated copper and is of a much heavier construction than the B2. The Air Hat marries directly onto a specially made dry suit to create a total over-pressure suit to maximise full body protection from any contaminants in the water. Communications delivered through a single microphone and single earpiece.
