contaminated diving

We don’t choose where a project might occur but Camplin Dive Services can cater for hazardous diving situations. When it is too contaminated for our general dive spread, we mobilise the heavy duty gear!

The Priority is to keep all personnel protected from any noxious substances in the area. Use of the correct PPE and other necessary barriers is essential.

We use the latest version of standard dress, a copper free flow helmet and thick rubber drysuit are married together to give a watertight seal. The overpressure design doesn’t allow water to breach inside the suit or hat. Part of our post dive setup is the portable Hazchem Deluge System that decontaminates the diver once out of the water.

Importantly, this dive spread is strictly kept separate to other equipment and is only used for this type of diving.
